Beckinsale Goes For Regular Medical Check Ups!:
'Pearl Harbour' star Kate Beckinsale has revealed that she is constantly in fear of her health because of the early death of her father, Richard.
Beckinsale was just five years old when her succeesful actor father died of a heart attack at the young age of 31.
The British beauty has just turned 31, and now goes for regular medical check-ups to make sure that she is able to enjoy a long and healthy life, unlike her father.
Richard Beckinsale starred in the hit Brit TV show, Porridge.
"Everyone always said how young my father was when he died, but I've had to reach that age to realise that he was younger than I could ever have imagined," Britain's 'Now' magazine quoted Beckinsale as saying.
"There's still so much to do in life, as a mother and as a person. I have constant check-ups. I can't help it. The first sign of something and I'm off. I'm not neurotic, but I am careful. I have to place my trust in medical people and that's all I can do," she added.
She has yet to do scenes and has allegedly signed no contracts.
