Ricky Gervais is an Extra

The new project by top man Ricky Gervais will involve Kate Winslet and Jude Law. Ricky plays an extra with a teeny part but thinks this is his road to greatness. Apparently Kate is a big fan of the Office.
Also, Simpsons creator Matt Groening has invited Ricky to write an episode of the Simpsons. Hmmm, David Brent vs Homer Simpson, who would win?
He said: "It's great to have Kate Winslet and Jude Law on board as we have so few British people who have made it big in Hollywood, but these are two who have.

"I can't believe people like Kate, Jude and Matt want to work with me - it's great.

Since cracking the US Ricky has been swamped with offers to do Hollywood. Now Jennifer Aniston is free who knows, he may step into Brad Pitts shoes.
